She always has this "duh" look, but its adorable. And she's smarter than your dog which makes her a rockstar. A brown eye and a blue eye...pffft she's needs to be on a dog food cover. Look at that face!

Lola...
Or baby Bola as she's often called around the house (cause it rhymes?) Many of you have seen photos of the little ones running wild around the house, but haven't seen photos of the biggest baby constantly on the prowl. Frankly, she's just too big to photograph in the house. I grabbed my camera and headed outside to play with them and snapped a few shots in the process.

Wedding Photos
I've been working my butt off trying to get all of the photos edited from the wedding Dave Baxter was kind enough to let me assist him with. If you're interested in booking me for a wedding I'm in the works of putting together pricing and a sample album. In the mean time I'll continue to network and shoot with other photographers so I can have my feet under me when it comes time for you big day!
In sad news, the Pistons were knocked out of the playoffs by the Celtics by what I would call poor coaching and a lack of effort which most likely stems from the latter. I've been playing bball quite a bit lately as well. I used to play all the time and have definitely missed being my competitive self. That said...here's the photo of the week!

Make sure you're cheering on the Red Wings! My good friend Lisa works for the Wings front office and gets a championship ring and a full day with the cup as soon as they seal the deal. I'd definitely like to drink some brew from Lord Stanley's prize possession so Lisa if you bring it up North...I'm flyin home!

Playing catch up!
I shot with the super awesome Dave Baxter all day on Friday at Christina and Jeremy's wedding and had an absolute blast! The sun was scorching hot, but both sides of the wedding party toughed out the heat and made it super fun for us to shoot with them. I took oodles of pictures and have been hard at work trying to get through them all. I'll have to get with Dave to see when we can get some images up for you to see.
In the mean time, Amanda and I headed back out in the awful humidity with Angel and shot some college grad pictures for her. She was an all-star and a complete trooper since I kept making her sit in busy city streets and she was having to get up and out of traffic over and over. But scanning through the pictures it was well worth the effort. Angel was recently diagnosed with chronic good lookingness. This shot belongs in a magazine.

We had a blast Angel! You can hang with us anytime you'd like. More to come!
PS. I'm going to turn into a sno cone...

Sno Cones!!
So I gave up on chocolate shakes in hopes of not becoming a heffer and started eating the most amazing treat on earth...SNO CONES! My new bff's down at Eskimo Sno are completely cool and get 10 million rad points for using shaved iced and having 50 bajillion flavors to choose from. My goal is to try them all. I let the girls pick out my flavor when I walk in the door and Amanda seems to have become quite fond of "banana." I've really been wanting to try a "ninja turtle," so I'm hoping when they make me one after I post this that's what they'll pick. No matter what it's a sno cone and I can't go wrong. I've even taken it a step further and bought this super sweet t-shirt that says "I love sno cones" and has Eskimo Sno stuff on the back. If you're in the Norman area and need a cool dose of yumminess definitely look them up!

Oh, and those aren't straws...technically. They are those candy sour dealies coated in sugar which make the experience even better! You can suck the juice through them if you want though. I prefer to just dive in face first. Does that make it a straw then?

Some new things!
It's been like Christmas the past couple days around here which is definitely always a good thing! Today I got home and found a Fed Ex package on the pourch for me. Only what I saw wasn't a pretty picture.
Here are my new business cards in the packaging :(

Thank god Herff Jones protects the hell out of everything they send me. I've never had any problems with Fed Ex delivering things to me like this...especially when it says "PHOTOS - DO NOT BEND" in pretty decent sized letters. All that extra cardboard they send me came in handy this time!
I started out creating my new cards all complicated and busy with an image and writing, but then I got to thinkin that I always get bored with stuff like that so I took it a completely different route and used the theme for my website. Black and White!

The best of the best though was getting my wedding band the other day. I've been a pretty big baby for almost a year now saying that it wasn't fair Amanda had an engagement ring and I didn't. She asked me a long time ago what I wanted in a wedding band and I gave her a pretty brief discription. This is what she came up with!

I couldn't have picked out anything better myself! You did an amazing job baby, this thing flat out ROCKS! I couldn't be more proud marrying you! I'm the luckiest man on the planet and this ring means we'll be together forever! I love you! It's not hard sporting Scott Kay either. The band is made of palladium and is rollin 12 diamonds deep. I decided that picture was far too boring so I did as if I were shooting wedding images and headed in a slightly more creative direction.

Ok...not that creative and well...I'm a dude. If her ring was in the picture as well this would probably be acceptable, but it's not.

Much better! Grand Theft Auto IV anyone? You can look me up on XBOX Live as thelegend1472. Amanda will have to get on here and post her story about giving me the ring because it's pretty funny. To make a long story short there was some indian giving going on and I don't get to HAVE it until Sept...more whining.
Please note: I realise that a lot of this was shot on my hideous orange kitchen counter tops, but only because there was some killer window light filtering in. Sorry, I really am.

It was my future little sister's Prom a couple weekends ago, so I stopped by one of her friends house and grabbed a couple of snap shots. All the girls were looking stunning and seemed to be pretty pumped up about the big event. Here are a few from my brief stent. Did I really just say stent? Wow...pictures...bed.
